Guides & Tutorials / How to compress any video file into a small size
« Last post by Oats on February 14, 2016, 03:46:26 am »

►TUTORIAL◄

Hey guys,

► This tutorial is all about how to compress a large video into a very small size without changing its actual quality.Well some people often PM me on forum and IG how do I make my forums reports so fast with good video quality.

► So I'm going to tell you exactly how I record my videos in 1080p and upload them in 720p on youtube without changing the actual quality.

► I'm going to step by step so you guys can easily get it.

1.When you see someone is hacking you need to capture it or take screen shots.Well,if someone is doing Health Hack(HH),Bullet proof (BP),Rapid Fire (RF) you need to capture a video in order to make it a proper evidence.

2.There are many softwares to capture video.Like Bandicam,Camtasia,Fraps.I personally do like FRAPS.It's just an amazing software to me.The main feature I like most is you can instant capture live gameplay with it.You can download it from ► Fraps 3.5.99 Here ◄

3.This is my FRAPS settings when I capture any videos.

4.Capturing any videos with this settings you'll get you less FPS (If your PC is not well configured) but a great 1080p video.

5.It will took almost 500MB of your HDD if you capture a video which is about 15 seconds length. Now if your upload speed sucks like mine,it'll take almost a day to upload this video. So how will you upload it then?

6.First of all you need to download this ► AVS Video converter ◄ This is worlds'#1 converting software if you Google it.

7.Now see my AVS converter's settings.

8.BOOM!! As can see above in the picture it's says that the max file size will be 8.7MB only if you convert it. So now you can upload this video in 720p in just few minutes.

• Now for recognizing any hacks and how to upload them on youtube you can see ► How to report a player properly ◄.

Guides & Tutorials / Mention
« Last post by Oats on February 14, 2016, 03:36:32 am »
Mention system is used to notify a person in a single topic,

Its easy to notify that user for this topic, than using the PM system.

How Does It Work ?:

First you need to Use ''@'' Before a usersname Name (I.E- @Avanis)

Remember, You need to use the exact name,

If you use @Avanos <<< It won't work.

How will I know that I am being notified ?:

When some one used Mention to notify you,

You will recieve a notify in your profile

In your Profile you will see this ''Profile [1]" And click on Mentions

And when your done clicking Mentions,

''Post Mentioning User'' will popup

(I.E)

You will see the ''Subject'' where you were notified, By ''Who were you Notified'' and ''Mentioned Time''

its Easy to use,

Just put ''@'' Before a existing exact username.

or, Use ''
Code: [Select]
[member=User ID] Username [/member]''

Thanks!

Guides & Tutorials / Installing Mods
« Last post by Oats on February 14, 2016, 03:35:58 am »
Hello, my name is Adhil (IG: [DK]Electron) and I am here to tell you about installing mods.
Starting off

1.GTA San Andreas System Requirements

You need to make sure you computer can run San Andrease. Theese are the Requirements.

Recommended System Requirements:
Intel Pentuim 4 or AMD XP Processor (or better)
384MB RAM
16x Speed DVD Drive
4.7GB Hard Drive Space
128MB Video Card
DirectX 9 compatible sound & video drivers
Keyboard, mouse or game pad

Minimum System Requirements:
1GHz Pentuim III or AMD Athlon
256MB RAM
8x Speed DVD Drive
3.6 GB Hard Disk Space
64MB Video Card
DirectX 9 compatable sound & video drivers
Keyboard, mouse

2.Backing Up

Before you do anything to the game, back up the files you are going to mod. I usually copy the GTA folder and rename it "Normal San Andreas" And that is good because you can play MTA and SA-MP with the normal version and play it modded with the folder you are going to mod. If you have minimum space just back up the files you need.

ALWAYS BACK UP EVEN IF ITS A HASSLE

3.Installing the mod

There are a couple of ways to install mods in to San Andreas, you can do it the normal way using IMG tool, or there are some Auto mod installers. I will show you how to use each one. (In this guide I am only showing how to install cars.)

Method 1: Using IMG Tool

1. Download img tool from the link here

2. Download a car from here

3. Read the read me, which should have the handling and other things which you will need too. It should also say what mod you need to replace. So go into GTA3.img , which normal should be in RockStar Games/ San Andreas/ Models

4. Now what ever car you need to replace find in there and delete it. In the ZIP file you downloaded there should be 2 files which should be .dff and .txd and extract them and then go into img tool, go to edit find and search for example.dff and delete it. Then add the one you downloaded. Then go to example.txd and do the exact same thing!

5. Now all you have to do is replace the handling. Open handling.cfg in /data with Notepad in the read me there should be a name of a car then lots of numbers, example

Quote:
PHOENIX 5000.0 20000.0 2.2 0.0 0.1 -0.15 85 0.7 0.9 0.52 5 200.0 26.0 5.0 R P 6.0 0.55 0 30.0 0.8 0.08 0.0 0.28 -0.24 0.59 0.4 0.25 0.1 350000 20286000 00708403 1 1 0
Now if yours sais Land Stalker or something else search that in the noteoad using ctrl + f. Once you find it copy the one in the read me and highlight the other one and paste to replace. Then 0pen carcols.dat in /data with Notepad (again) and in the readme most of the time there is another thing that has the name of a car and a couple of numbers. Not usually much. And do what you did with the handling and it should be installed!

Method 2 Self Mod Installers

There are 2 main Mod installers

Self Mod Installers GTA Garage Mod Manager and San Andreas Mod Installer

GMM

GMM is simple.

1. Download GTA Garage Mod Manager

2. Once downloaded Install it.

3.Download a GMM mod from here

4.Run GMM

5.Click on installer then click on install a car package. Select the car you want to install. Then a Car Mod discription and click on install. And then the new window show open and click okay. And it should be installed!

San Andreas Mod Installer

This one is another automatic mod installer.

1.Download San Andreas mod installer here

2. Once downloaded install it.

3.Run it. Click on Install a mod.

4.Select your San Andreas Directory, where you installed it too. It should usually be C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\

5. Then on the second one select the mod you downloaded. Which should be in a ZIP folder. Then click continue. The Handling should be there automatically if not get it from the readme in the zip file. The press Continue again. Type the name of the car you are installing and the car it is replacing. If you don't know which one to replace just look in the ZIP and look at the .dff and what it is called. Then install it! And its done.

Installing cloths

1st. Download img tool from the link here

2. Download the cloth mod

3. Go to San Andreas Directory and then models. Go to Player.img

4. In the Zip you downloaded there should be a (or more) .txd files. Remember the .txd file name.

5. In image Tool go to edit, find and type the file name in. Once you have it selected delete it. Add the .txd file in the zip. and it should be done!

Installing Weapons

1.Download weapon mod from here or another website.

2. Open the .zip file.

3. Look at the file and see what the name is.

4. Open GTA3.img in that will be in the models folder in the San Andreas Directory.

5. Search for the file that is in the zip. (not the read me)

6. Delete the one in the gta3.img

7. Add the one in the Zip file. It should now be installed!
Enjoy!

5.My Mods aren't working!

First thing you need to know is if you have the second version of San Andreas you CANNOT install mods. If you bought the game recently that should be your case. Well if you have the first version and your mods aren't working just use the back up you should of made of the .dff or .txt and install them like you did with the mod or if you made a copy of gta3.img delete the one with the mod and replace it with the back up. But if you do the replace the gta3.img you will lose all your mods! But if you didn't back it up you can download them from here . If you don't want to download it then you will have to reinstall it or try to reinstall the mod. If it is that mod that is bad and not the installation you can replace it using a mod that replaces the same car and replace the old one with the new one and it should work. But if you used San Andreas Mod installer it automatically backs it up.

NOTE: Make a whole copy of your GTA San Andreas ORIGINAL folder
Make a folder where you install your mods, give it a specific name. Enjoy!

Guides & Tutorials / Mod Loader
« Last post by Oats on February 14, 2016, 03:31:43 am »
Mod Loader is an ASI Plugin for Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto San Andreas that adds an extremely user-friendly and easy way to install and uninstall your modifications, without even messing around anything in your game installation.

The usage is simple, you just have to create one or more folders inside modloader directory and then drop the mod contents there. It's done. It is recommended to have one folder for each modification you have.

Highlights

Do not replace ANY original file, never, really.
Let Mod Loader take care of everything
Data files merging. Therefore you can for example have 70 handling.cfg files at modloader and they'll all work perfectly fine.
Readme files reading. No need to care about taking the data line from the readme file and placing in the data file, Mod Loader does that for you too!
Refreshable mods. Change or add the files while the game is running and see the results immediatelly!
Command line support. See modloader/.data/Command Line Arguments.md.
In-Game menu for configurations. Go to Options > Mod Configuration.

Guides & Tutorials / Tutorial On Posting Images On The Forums
« Last post by Oats on February 14, 2016, 03:31:21 am »
There already is a tutorial on this, but I personally don't find it too understandable, so I'm creating my own. This tutorial shows how to post screenshots taken in SAMP on the forums.

1. Capturing screenshots.
It's fairly easy capturing screenshots in-game, just hit F8 and your screenshot will be stored in Documents -> GTA San Andreas User Files -> SAMP -> screens folder.

2. Uploading images.
There are several sites you can use to upload images, one of the easiest ones to use is postimage.org (imgur and tinypic are also fairly simple to use). Once you naviagate to the Postimage home page, simply choose "Choose Images" (or "Choose Files", I'm not sure as it's in Estonian for me and I'm unsure what it is in English, but you get the point) as shown in the image below:

Make sure, that the "For all" circle is ticked as shown in the below image.

Then simply hit the "Upload" button and your images will be uploaded. Once your images have been uploaded, you will be directed to this page:

Simply click on your image and your image will be displayed in full size.

3.Posting your image on the forums.

Once your image has been displayed in full size, right click on it and choose "Copy image URL". Once you have copied the URL of the image, go to the forums and naviagate to the post you want to reply to, or create your own post. Once you're there hit the "Reply" or "Start new topic" button. Now, all you have to do is, paste your image URL in between the IMG codes. Like this:

Code: [Select]
[img]Image link here[/img]
Type in anything else you want in your post and hit "Post". There you go, your image will appear in full size on your post.

Hope this tutorial helped out, feel free to ask any questions.
